For our June ASHRAE meeting our guest speaker will be Kenley Kyle. Kenley is the Electrification Program Manager for Trane’s Pacific Southwest Region, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the company's decarbonization and electrification of heat business strategy. With a robust background in the HVAC industry, Kenley brings over 20 years of diverse experience to his current role.

Before joining Trane, Kenley spent 12 years in account management, working closely with consulting engineers. His expertise in this area was further enhanced by an additional 6 years of product management experience. His exceptional performance and leadership skills quickly earned him a leadership position in the Los Angeles commercial sales office. Over the past couple of years, Kenley has demonstrated a commitment to consistently driving growth and innovation in the electrification of heat space. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa.  Outside of his business endeavors, he spends as much time as possible enjoying sport activities with his children and hiking through national parks.

Kenley will go over the differences between decarbonization and electrification. We will be able to learn to recognize the energy and capacity impact of heating water temperatures and heat source temperatures. As well as appreciate the differences from traditional chilled water system design and understand the incentives available.
